It’s still a candidate’s job market in 2018. Many companies want the same elite talent in technology, engineering and design. This demand means that these people are inundated with calls and messages about new roles, often multiple times a day. So how do you make sure that your company stands out from the 8 other people that called them this week?

This is particularly good advice for early stage companies. When you’re creating your sales deck to secure your first round of funding, make sure you also solidify your pitch to future employees. If you are solidified on that front, you will be able to attract high caliber (and often highly skeptical) people.
